ADVISOR - BUSINESS
Harold Simpson was born in Monticello, Kentucky, in 1943 but has spent most of his life in Indiana. The son of a dedicated factory worker and a homemaker, he was raised on good morals and hard work by both his parents. He began his career at a young age as a candy and tobacco salesman for Hamilton Harris of Kokomo, Indiana before being promoted to Branch Manager in Richmond, Indiana.
After gaining a knowledge in sales and management, his interest in the business side of his work continued to grow. Harold went on to own several small businesses of his own, including a small fire extinguisher company and even a laundromat that he sold for profit after just 7 weeks of operation. His success really started to take shape in 1984 when he opened Fowler Wholesale, a candy and tobacco company located in Richmond. With the strong support of his wife, Judy, Harold turned Fowler Wholesale into one of the most profitable wholesale distributors in the state before selling it for a large profit in 1999 to Richmond Masters.
Harold currently owns and operates 10 discount tobacco stores throughout the state of Indiana but it’s not his businesses alone that defines him. He is also a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather to his family. He and his wife, Judy, have made it their ultimate duty to make sure their family is always taken care of.
Harold will tell you that Judy is his backbone and the family is their most successful business yet.
